This client was ranking for their desired keywords in quite well positions on Google search results but they were struggling to rank in the first position for their main keyword.
The keyword was not a long tail keyword, it was a broad keyword type. The volume of this particular keyword is quite high with a lower KD and it was also their money keyword.

On-Page SEO Optimization
First, we decided to optimize the target page for this keyword which was their homepage. Since the website is created in a Shopify store, we used SEO Doctor app to improve the On-page SEO score
We also SEO audit the whole page in a few free and paid SEO tools like Seobility and Ahrefs and fixed all the On-Page SEO issues which include image optimization, alt texts in images, focus keyword placement, and proper heading structure.
Technical SEO and Page Speed Optimization
Secondly, we audited the page on web.dev/measure/ for technical issues, the website had quite a lot of core web vitals issues which includes LCP issues.
Then we audited the page on the Google pagespeed insights tool to check the page speed score, the page speed of their site was low for mobile and average for desktop.
LCP issues were taking a huge load on page speed and the overall performance of the website. Our team started to fix these issues on a priority basis.
We were able to fix all the major technical issues and improve the speed and performance of the website quite well.

Now the most important ranking factor was left and you might have guessed it right it is none other than link building, in simple words getting backlinks from high DA relevant sites that are relevant to the client niche.
So we planned to do a strategic link building, We focused on getting backlinks from high DA websites through guest posting as well as we audit their competitor backlink profile through our favorite SEO tool Ahrefs to get the relevant backlinks for us.
We managed to successfully get some high-quality relevant niche backlinks through guest posting and outreach.
These SEO strategies result in bringing the client’s main two money keywords on top of Google search results from the 5th position and 4th position as well as now their conversion rate has improved to 10x more as compared to when we picked up their site.
